This car is currently located in New Zealand and is being sold by – Tim, the owner of J Cars, is a true expert on all things JDM and has a great eye for finding interesting, quirky and quality imports from Japan.

We purchased this example in Japan as a completely bone stock original low km 1 owner car from an elderly gentleman. He ordered it new in turbo Brougham spec, optioned with CD player and now sought after half lace seat covers. On arrival we have carried out compliance and fresh servicing. Fitted custom springs with all new KYB Special SR Shocks on all 4 corners.

Setting the look off in true V.I.P style is a set of period correct Ray’s Cerumo C5S 3P Alloy Wheels wrapped in brand New Falken ZE310R tyres, Pro Tinted windows and Ceramic Coated Paint. We like the Gran Turismo look over the Brougham but prefer the Brougham’s higher spec interior with rear center control unit and appreciate it’s lack of Hicas 4 wheel steering, something many owners want to delete now with age on their Skylines etc. So based on this we choose to build a hybrid period VIP tribute car by fitting the Gran Turismo exterior. Thus building essentially the same car with more interior options for a good $10,000 less than buying a actual Gran Turismo Ultima.

A.K.A Nissan Gloria for the sister car along with the Nissan Cima which are all built on the same platform. The Cedric / Gloria shares some components with the 300ZX, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Cefiro, Nissan Laurel and S13 Silvia. It was common for Japanese V.I.P builders of the time to use Skyline hubs and brakes in unison with S13 Silvia suspensions and adjustable arms to build incredibly low static Cedglo’s (Japan’s pet name for Cedric / Gloria) With plenty of parts laying around out there this is possible with this, or you could keep it at a respectable drivable height that still looks sporty as set by us.

Current Condition

Condition is immaculate inside and out. Battery acid had leaked onto the tray at some stage over the vehicles life so this was professionally repainted to avoid issues in future.

We can not find any receipt of timing belt history therefore we would recommend for peace of mind the new owner carry out a timing belt change.

Accident History

None that we are aware off however the original front bumper had light parking scuffs. We can show this bumper to any concerned purchaser. Along with photos pre GT Ultima Swap to prove condition – It was complied factory.

Bodywork & Paintwork Repairs

Front Bumper, Grille and Rear bumper have been resprayed. The Grille and Front bumper are GT Ultima parts so were matched to the car with the face swap. The Rear bumper had Shrine stickers on it obviously related the the owners religious group, due to how long they were on the car they could not be removed and buffed so the bumper was resprayed to ensure a perfect look.
