Readers’ Cars – 1967 Chevrolet Camaro

It’s with great excitement that I bring you the first instalment of our ‘Readers’ Cars’ series (where you – our valued readers – are invited to send in photos and/or videos of your cars and we will feature them on this site).

Paul from California sent through these pictures of his stunning 1967 Chevrolet Camaro.

Paul’s beautiful Camaro. As we are based in NZ, we don’t see a huge number of American muscle cars, but the Camaro is a timeless classic beyond any doubt!

What’s particularly fascinating about this car is the lineage/ownership history.

Paul says he has owned the car since he was in high school in 1972. It was purchased from his aunt who had actually bought it new, and it was Paul’s first car.

In his own words, he “abused it” at first, but over time has repaired and restored it to be in the fine-looking condition you see it in today.

What’s even more impressive is that the “family story” continues – Paul’s daughters drove it, and now his grandchildren have driven it too.

It’s always so pleasing to see stories like this of cars that have stayed in a family, been used and enjoyed, and have delighted over multiple generations.

Thanks Paul for sending this in – your support means a lot, and the team here at Garage Dreams wish you and your family many years more of happy motoring with the Camaro. Best of luck with your new project; the 1968 Camaro convertible.

If you have an interesting car you’d like to share (from any generation/era/manufacturer) then email admin@garagedreams.net – we would love to hear from you.
