The 2022 Nissan GT-R NISMO Is Coming To McDonald’s

Just when you thought the new 2022 “Stealth Gray” GT-R NISMO couldn’t get any better, you discover it can thanks to a collaboration with McDonald’s Japan.

Nissan revealed at its Yokohama HQ that it would be taking part in McDonald’s Japan’s ‘Happy Set’ (their version of the Happy Meal) with Tomica Nissan GT-R NISMO toys.

Two versions are available; the “regular” GT-R NISMO and a special Golden Arches version that is gold-wrapped. At the reveal, the life-size Golden Arches NISMO drove out from a massive Happy Set box.

Te Happy Set Tomica promo will also feature versions of the Toyota 86, Suzuki Jimny, and Mitsubishi Delica. These will begin rolling out at McDonald’s Japan starting from April 30 until May 13, so to our Japanese readers we say “get in quick”.

If you fancy a 2022 GT-R NISMO but don’t quite have the budget, then here’s a way to get a piece of automotive history and some lunch/dinner at the same time (and for far less money).

What do you think about the 2022 GT-R NISMO? And would you go for the Golden Arches special paint job if you had the chance?
