Our goal with this site has always been to help you find and purchase your dream classic car. In particular, our ever-expanding database of buyer’s guides helps you to avoid lemons and other pitfalls when buying a car.
However, as anybody who has ever owned a car will be able to tell you, purchasing a car is only part of the story.
Most of the time, it’s what comes after the purchase that can be problematic.
Servicing, maintenance and repair costs can really stack up. One other frustration we have also experienced is trying to find accurate and reliable information about servicing intervals, correct service components (e.g. spark plugs, oil filter and grade etc).
That’s why we are in the process of rolling out a new section on this site, focused on maintenance, servicing and repairs for a raft of classic and ‘modern classic’ vehicles.
We are sourcing accurate, reliable information essential service intervals, components/service items, known issues and common DIY repairs, as well as information on “aesthetic” preservation and maintenance through proper cleaning and detailing.
Keep an eye out for this new type of maintenance and servicing content that will be rolling out weekly at Garage Dreams.
