How About This R34 GT-R V-SPEC II?

There’s no way to sugar coat it – the R34 GT-R is the kind of JDM cars, and as such commands a king’s ransom in terms of price these days.

However, what’s the harm in dreaming? And I’m definitely dreaming about this epic 2001 R34 GT-R V-SPEC II

This is Build #1493/1855 (1 of 357 in QM1 White), and is being sold by Giltrap Nissan which is one of the premier Nissan dealers in New Zealand (if you are reading from outside of New Zealand and were interested in buying this car, I’m sure that Giltrap would be able to assist in the export process for a serious buyer – it’s entirely likely that this car will be purchased to be shipped outside of NZ).

On sale for $299,000 NZD (~$188,000 USD at the time of writing) you’ll need deep pockets for this example, but doesn’t it look superb?

Here are the key stats and specs:

  • 2001
  • 93,000 km
  • Imported into NZ in 2016 and complied/certified
  • Includes documented Japanese service books, service receipts and all other “literature”

This V-Spec II has had the Nismo Sports Resetting Package in Japan, which includes the majority of the items below plus more:

  • Nismo Oil Catch Can/Separator
  • Nismo White Face Cluster (documented and stamped at 3,700km from new)
  • Nismo S-Tune Front Bumper
  • Nismo Z-Tune Side Skirt Extensions and Rear Pods
  • Nismo LMGT4 wheels (18×10.5+15) and brand new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 Tyres
  • Cusco Coilovers
  • Kakimoto Cat-Back Exhaust, De-Cat and Aftermarket Downpipe
  • Blitz Air Intake Kit
  • Custom Nismo Z-Tune LED Taillights

The vehicle also includes the following original factory parts:

  • Complete Factory Air box
  • Full Set Factory V-Spec II Suspension
  • Full Factory Turbo-Back Exhaust
  • Original GT-R Wheels and Tyres
  • Spare Set of OEM Tail Lights

I must admit, it looks the part in white with the black wheels and appears to be in superb condition. Now if only I could remember where I placed my winning lottery ticket!
