Toyota Crown Royal Saloon Supercharged 1985 – SOLD

Location
Christchurch, New Zealand

Price: SOLD

This 1985 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon is one of a kind and is in excellent condition. It has been imported by jcars into New Zealand and has traveled a mere 4,500 km (2,800 miles) since new (genuine). The car has only had one owner and has been kept in controlled storage for many years.

This car has been kept in completely original condition and still even has its pre-delivery plastic protection on the seats and door cards.

It is powered by a 1G-GZEU 1988cc Twincam 24-Valve Roots Type Supercharged engine which is mated to a 4-Speed Auto Column Change transmission. This makes it an incredibly rare model that you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

The immaculate interior is finished in burgundy and there is a bench seat which is extremely rare for hard top specification Crown Royal Saloons. While the condition and specifications are excellent, this car’s best feature almost certainly has to be the factory fridge in the rear of the vehicle.

The Supercharged Saloon comes with original tyres with 7mm of tread (however, these have been removed to preserve them).

Those who have seen it describe this as a concourse survivor and destined to appreciate in value substantially for any collector investor.
